Product Description

Ikoma Keydashi - Titanium

This is a new fixed blade model by Flavio Ikoma, he calls it the Keydashi, because it is actually a Key chain knife .

*The idea of this little knife came about because I wanted to have a knife that I would always have with me. I am not proud to say that, but there were times that I left home in a hurry and simply forgot to clip my folder in my pocket, but I have never forgotten to take my keys with me.
I wanted to make it the lightest possible, so I wanted to use Titanium instead of steel, problem is, Ti doesn't hold an edge really well, so I decided to test an idea I had when Todd Begg told me the theory on heating the lock face of a frame lock folder to prevent sticking, I have already noticed that by heating Ti, a harder layer forms on the surface and since it is harder, so maybe it could cut better.*

2" x .119" Blade, Chisel Ground, Titanium with Special Heat Treat.
3-5/8" OAL.
.6 oz total, sheath and split ring.
